Contemporary Painting Artist

Born on November 24, 1975 in Koutiala, Souleymane Ouologuem is a wel-known artist passionate about contemporary paintings, living and working in Bamako.

Having graduated in Visual Arts from the National Institute of Arts in Bamako in June 2001, Ouologuem persued a career in the Multimedia Department of the Conservatory of Arts in Bamako in 2005, which the registrant even better in his day. He obtained his diploma in July 2005.

Ouologuem focuses its work on its Dogon origins, rituals, traditions, cosmogony.

He paints the Dogon world, which is a way of showing its presence and veneration that men have for it. He uses a mixture of mediums such as paintings and collages with colors created from his own mixture of pigments, dyes and glues …
